If you are experiencing a plumbing emergency please take a look at the below advice before you give us a call on 07845 501007
In the unexpected event of a water leak, locate the mains stop cock and isolate, usually found under the kitchen sink. Next, open a cold water tap to release all pressure in the pipework / system, we recommend the kitchen cold tap.
If the leak doesn't slow down after 5 minutes, open all the hot taps as well to drain the system. We recommend to fill the bath and as many buckets as possible, as that will give you water for usage around the house once everything is drained.
Make sure you isolate the source heating the hot water, immersions if electrical or boiler hot water control, if heated with gas.
If you are unable to determine if it's a heating pipe, switch off the boiler and all controls associated with the heating and hot water.
Finally call us to arrange an appointment to attend and repair.
